The Philippines was slammed earlier this month by Typhoon Haiyan, known as Yolanda in the Philippines. Millions are now homeless, and chaos is rampant, with water, communications, and roads in short supply. Pure Works and Pure Works SoCal are responding with medicine gifted by MAP International and a team of medical personnel. Medicine in large quantities to the Philippines must be duly authenticated. Last year, MAP International gave more than $1.95 million in wholesale medicine. This year we are seeing a similar response: $656,316.56 and more to come from others.
